Description
Tulum Swimmers is a watercolor on paper, and it’s based on a photo I took during a visit to the Mayan ruins at Tulum. The water is so beautiful and inviting there, and at the time I visited this part of Tulum it was still a very pristine and undeveloped place. The water especially is a color that is hard to capture. This beach is at the bottom of the ruins area, where it’s perfectly fine to swim or just hang out by the rocks and imagine living there thousands of years ago. The size is approximately 12″ x 17.5″.
