Placencia is an original abstract painting on canvas. The inspiration for this painting is Placencia, Belize, and the surrounding area. Placencia was a cute little beach town when I first visited it, but now it’s become over-developed to the point where the landscape is changed in many ways. The sun stills shines as brightly but something has changed about the town itself. This is a painting that focuses on that sun and the positive memories I still have of that area. The size is 16″ x 20″ and it’s framed with a simple black floater frame.
