St. Simon’s Lighthouse is a well known Georgia icon, located on a small barrier island off the coast of the southern state of Georgia. This watercolor is an original painting of the lighthouse near the beach, seen from the large pier near the large downtown park on St. Simon’s island. It’s a beautiful area with rocks along the beach and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side. The painting is done in a graphic style with poured color creating interesting colors in the sky and water. The size is 18″ x 24″ unmatted, and can be matted on request.
