This painting is a part of my “Memories” environmental series. It depicts the vulnerable nude figure of a woman caught up in an overwhelming bank of grey clouds, blotting out the blue sky. The clouds represent dirty air, which is contributing to climate change. With this series I hoped to make people think about how much cleaner the environment was just 10 or 20 years ago. Remember when the air and water were not so polluted? We all need and deserve clean air to breathe, it is a basic human need.
