Bocawina Falls is an acrylic painting on panel. The scene is an impressionist view of a pond surrounded by tropical forest. The location is central Belize in a park where there are several waterfalls, and the waterfall nearby this pond is called Lower Bocawina. Everyone paints or photographs the waterfalls, but I thought the pond at the bottom was just as interesting and even more beautiful with all the rocks around it and the sense of isolation.
