Fine Art Exhibit in Georgia – Free to the Public – Through July

Atlanta abstract art in purple and blue on canvas

New ART  EXHIBIT at SMYRNA CITY HALL

I have six paintings in this art exhibit. (For those of you not familiar with the Atlanta area, Smyrna is about 13 miles north and slightly west of Atlanta.) There is no charge, and you can see my paintings in person. That’s been hard to do for the last two years while COVID was rampant, and many art shows were cancelled. This show will be on display for about two months. The announcement from the Arts Council is below:

The Smyrna Arts Council and the City of Smyrna are excited to welcome six local artists to our newest fine arts exhibit at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Smyrna.

The exhibit, which is available to view from May through July, features watercolors by JEANNE MARIE MIRKOVIC and VEENA RAJ, acrylic paintings by SHELLY LEITHEISER, digital illustration by JUSTIN GROOM, photography by BECCA MCCOY, and alcohol ink abstract paintings by MIRANDA CEARLEY.
The exhibit can be viewed during City Hall’s normal business hours and residents are encouraged to visit. If you are unable to come in person, follow Smyrna Arts Council on Facebook and Instagram to experience it virtually and to learn more about Arts happenings here in Smyrna!

See more info here on their website, including hours and directions.
