The Wild Side in Atlanta Art

Wolf Moon painting

A beautiful art show full of wild (and domesticated) animals is on display now at the Grandview Avenue Gallery in Atlanta. This gallery is in the Buckhead area of the city and is a beautiful place with rotating themed art shows featuring members of the Atlanta Artists Center and other artists. See the exhibits calendar here if you are interested in what’s coming up.

Wolf Moon painting

The painting I have in the current art show, called Animal Instincts, is titled “Wolf Moon”. This is a small painting, 12″ x 12″ and done in acrylic and other media on artist panel. The site is a wild wolf staring off into the wilderness in the mountains, lit by a cold moon. You will almost feel the chill of the night air, looking at it.

The painting is framed in a black floater frame and is for sale. Go check out the whole show! There is a great deal of art in every show there, by a wide variety of local artists.
