Description

Waterworld 2100 is a vision of the future, probably somewhere in an area near a coast that will flood as the sea level rises, which is already happening.  (A recent NOAA report says climate change will cause one foot of sea level rise by 2050 along the US coasts!) Climate change and global warming are interests of mine and I regularly blog about environmental issues, and from my knowledge of this subject, it’s clear the world will be a very wet place on coastlines, and a very dry place elsewhere. This painting includes very warm colors and a sky that seems to suggest wildfires are burning somewhere, although this was painted before that became a steady year-round problem out West.

This is acrylic on canvas, and only professional quality materials were used. It is gallery wrapped and ready to hang.
