During this pandemic it’s unusual to see a new art exhibit in real life. But it happens! There is a new art show at the City Hall in downtown Smyrna, GA, which is one of the fastest-growing suburbs of Atlanta. Smyrna has a growing art scene, thanks to the new Smyrna Arts Council. This show will probably be on exhibit until January 2021, or longer. Here are some highlights from the show, which is free.
The watercolor painting “Future’s So Bright” by Shelly Leitheiser is a part of the juried group show sponsored by the Georgia Watercolor Society. The Marietta Fence Gallery is an outdoor gallery that was recently installed with a juried show of artwork done by Georgia artists. “The immersive arts festival that travels through downtown Marietta each year will still incorporate its visual arts displays and activites, just without performance art this year, in light of the coronairus outbreak. During TrailFest, public art is scattered throughout the city. Reality or Abstraction is a new exciting art show currently showing at the Grandview Gallery in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. Fine Art South artist Shelly Leitheiser has 3 paintings in this juried art show, pictured below. The Grandview gallery is member-owned and operated by the Atlanta Artists Center. They do great work in Atlanta for the arts. Their location is 2979 Grandview Avenue, Atlanta, GA. The show runs through mid-January.

A beautiful art show full of wild (and domesticated) animals is on display now at the Grandview Avenue Gallery in Atlanta. This gallery is in the Buckhead area of the city and is a beautiful place with rotating themed art shows featuring members of the Atlanta Artists Center and other artists.
